Picture a late-November Tuesday in Naples: the afternoon around Piazza dei Martiri and the seafront, back to the suite to change, then about an eight-minute walk from Vico Monteroduni to Teatro di San Carlo. On stage, a piano and nothing but Chopin.
Louis Lortie is announced at Teatro di San Carlo on Tuesday 24 November 2026 at 8pm, for one night only, with a solo piano recital devoted to Fryderyk Chopin. The date and time are on the theatre's listing. The concert is part of the San Carlo's piano festival, organised with the Associazione Alessandro Scarlatti, and also appears in the Associazione's 2026/2027 concert season. It falls on a Tuesday: three nights outside the weekend leave room for the concert and a full day for the city.
Louis Lortie at San Carlo: programme and duration
The Teatro di San Carlo's listing gives a duration of about an hour and a half, with an interval. The programme, also published by the Associazione Scarlatti, brings together polonaises and mazurkas:

How do you buy tickets for Louis Lortie?
Tickets are bought separately from your stay, only through the theatre's and the organiser's own channels. San Carlo sells them from the show's listing, with the "Acquista biglietti" button, and on Vivaticket. The Associazione Scarlatti's listing instead points to Azzurro Service, from where the purchase continues on Vivaticket.

Three nights, Monday 23 to Thursday 26 November
Arriving on Monday 23 and leaving on Thursday 26 gives you three nights, with the concert on the second evening. Check-in is between 3pm and 8pm, in person with Monica or Fabio: it's worth stating your arrival window when you book. From Napoli Centrale it takes about 35–45 minutes altogether on metro Line 1, or 15–20 minutes by taxi; tell the driver Vico Monteroduni 16, the vehicle entrance, the same one to use with luggage. Tuesday evening is kept for the concert: by day, it's worth staying close by. Piazza dei Martiri is about a 3-minute walk, the Via Caracciolo seafront about 7, Galleria Umberto I about 8, and Piazza del Plebiscito about 9.
