What kind of area Chiaia is, when you stay there
Chiaia is not just shopping: Via Chiaia, Via dei Mille and Via Filangieri sit alongside historic palazzi, cafés, restaurants, Piazza dei Martiri, the Villa Comunale and the seafront. On your first evening take a stroll with no plan: Via Chiaia, Piazza dei Martiri and the seafront give you the measure of the neighbourhood and its distances straight away. How far Chiaia is from the centre, on foot
Chiaia is convenient if you want to move on foot between Palazzo Reale, about 7 minutes from Follaky, Teatro di San Carlo and Galleria Umberto I, 8, Piazza del Plebiscito, 9, and the sea. The historic centre, though, is not round the corner: Santa Chiara is about a 24-minute walk, Cappella Sansevero 31, Via San Gregorio Armeno 32; and to Via San Gregorio Armeno the metro saves no time.

What to look at when choosing where to stay in Chiaia
- Where the taxi stops with your cases. With us the taxi drives in at the vehicle entrance, Vico Monteroduni 16, and stops in the first courtyard to unload the luggage; from there a short slope among the plants leads to the second courtyard, where Palazzo Giovagnoni stands.
- Noise. The suites are inside a private residential park and look towards two neighbouring private gardens, whose trees filter the light and keep the noise away.
- Who welcomes you. Check-in is always in person, with Monica or Fabio. From Monday to Saturday, in the morning, the building's porter is also there.
- What is included. Follaky Breakfast included, with quality products; plus Wi-Fi, air conditioning for heating and cooling, Smart TV, coffee machine, kettle and fridge.
The two suites, and when to take them together
- Suite Chiaia Deluxe Garden View — for two guests, the more intimate one: queen-size bed, private bathroom with shower and bidet, a large window towards the neighbouring private gardens. It has no patio.
- Suite Toledo Deluxe Private Patio — for two guests, larger and brighter: queen-size bed, private bathroom with a large walk-in shower, no bidet, and a small private patio reserved for the suite.
- Double Suites — Exclusive Use — the two suites together, up to four guests, with two private bathrooms: for families with teenagers aged 14 and over, two couples or friends. For the whole of your stay there are no other guests in the property.
